A wonderful journey to the center of the universe
Snæfellsnes glacier is one of the energy centers on the earth.
Poets, writers and artists have often come to the glaciers in search of inspiration and energy.
Amongst those are Iceland´s Noble Price winner Halldór Laxnes and Jules Verne, Journey to the centre of the Earth by verne.
This tour takes us to Ytri -Tunga where a seal colony can be found.
Then further on to Arnarstapi where we take a 1 hour hike along the cliffs to Hellnar where the bird life is plentiful and amazing rock formations to look at, and to feal the sea breeze and breath in the fresh air is something quite unforgettable in this unique and dramatic scenery.
Then we head on to Dritvík bay, an old fishing bay, Skarðsvík bay Golden Sands and to Saxhóll, Reed Basaltic Crater.
